Welcome to Our Clinic Blog!
Each week, we highlight the engaging, play-based activities our clients participate in—from creative crafts and sensory exploration to specials, social groups, and themed learning experiences. Our goal is to show how meaningful skill-building happens through fun, connection, and hands-on play.
Here, you’ll get a glimpse into the moments that make our clinic special—celebrating growth, creativity, and the everyday wins of our amazing learners.
Nursery Rhymes: Fun With Words and Songs
In ABA, we teach important skills through play and everyday activities. While your child is having fun, they’re also practicing listening, following directions, communication, sharing, fine motor skills, and independence.
This week we used Nursery Rhymes to help learning feel exciting, meaningful, and easier to remember!

Pet Week!
This week, our theme was “Pets” and how we care for them. Through fun, hands-on activities, clients practiced important skills like attention, turn-taking, gentle hands, and playing with peers.
A favorite activity was our toy aquarium! Clients enjoyed watching and following the moving fish, which supported focus and visual skills while also providing calming sensory input. The activity helped teach early pet-care concepts such as being gentle, waiting for turns, and following simple routines.
By learning through play, clients build meaningful skills in a fun and supportive environment. We’re so proud of the progress they made this week and can’t wait to keep growing together!
Arctic Animal Fun!
This week at our ABA clinic, our clients dove into a hands-on sensory activity that blended play, creativity, and skill-building in the best way. Arctic animal toys were frozen into different colored ice cubes, turning a simple activity into an exciting learning experience.
Using ice, food coloring, paper and toy animals, our clients explored color mixing while strengthening fine motor skills as they worked to break apart the ice and “rescue” the animals inside. The activity encouraged problem-solving, patience, and persistence, all while supporting sensory exploration in a fun and engaging way.
Moments like these highlight what ABA can look like at its best: joyful, individualized, and meaningful. Our clients were fully engaged, proud of their accomplishments, and excited to show off their discoveries. We love creating experiences that feel like play while supporting growth, confidence, and independence—one ice cube at a time ❄️🧊🐻❄️
